SaveVid is designed to process the URL you submit to provide the requested media information and download response. We do not require an account for the public downloader.

Technical data

Our hosting, security, analytics, and advertising providers may process technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, request timestamps, and cookies or similar technologies according to their own policies.

Advertising

If advertising is enabled, advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies to deliver, measure, or personalize advertising where permitted. The specific providers and disclosures will be updated when advertising integrations are enabled.

Recently downloaded list

The homepage shows the last 10 videos downloaded through SaveVid. For each entry we store and publicly display the video's source URL, title, thumbnail and duration, as provided by the source platform. The list does not show who downloaded a video, and older entries are replaced automatically as new downloads happen. The list is stored with our hosting provider, Cloudflare.

So that you can remove videos you downloaded, your browser keeps a random, anonymous identifier in a first-party cookie named vs_owner. We store only a one-way hash of this identifier next to the entries you downloaded. It is not linked to your name, email address or any account. While the cookie is present, you can remove your own entries with the delete button in the list. If you have cleared your cookies, or want any other entry removed, contact us at contact@savevid.top.
