Information we process
When you use the downloader, the service may receive the URL you submit and technical request information needed to operate, secure and troubleshoot the service. The application is not designed to require an account.
URLs and media requests
Submitted URLs may be processed by the downloader server and the underlying media extraction software to retrieve metadata and media. Avoid submitting private, confidential or sensitive URLs.
Logs and security
The infrastructure may retain limited technical logs such as timestamps, IP addresses, user-agent information and error details for security, abuse prevention, diagnostics and service reliability, subject to the operator's actual infrastructure configuration.
Advertising
If advertising is enabled, third-party advertising providers may use cookies or similar technologies according to their own policies. The final published policy should identify the advertising providers actually used on this website and link to their privacy documentation.
Cookies
The application may use essential storage or cookies if needed for site operation, security or advertising. Do not claim that the site uses no cookies unless the production configuration has been verified.
Recently downloaded list
The homepage shows the last 10 videos downloaded through SaveVid. For each entry we store and publicly display the video's source URL, title, thumbnail and duration, as provided by the source platform. The list does not show who downloaded a video, and older entries are replaced automatically as new downloads happen. The list is stored with our hosting provider, Cloudflare.
So that you can remove videos you downloaded, your browser keeps a random, anonymous identifier in a first-party cookie named vs_owner. We store only a one-way hash of this identifier next to the entries you downloaded. It is not linked to your name, email address or any account. While the cookie is present, you can remove your own entries with the delete button in the list. If you have cleared your cookies, or want any other entry removed, contact us at contact@savevid.top.
Third-party services
The service may interact with source platforms and infrastructure providers when processing a URL. Their own terms and privacy policies may also apply.
Your choices
You can stop using the service at any time. For privacy questions or requests, contact the site operator using the published contact details.
Policy updates
This policy may be updated when the service, infrastructure, advertising partners or legal requirements change.
